HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

Define. Develop.
Review. Deliver.

A traceable design process with clear inputs, responsibilities and outputs.

01

Define the brief

Agree the scope, site information, loads, design basis, interfaces and deliverables.

02

Develop the design

Coordinate calculations, layouts, details and quantities across the relevant disciplines.

03

Review & resolve

Check consistency, address review comments and record the design decisions.

04

Issue & support

Deliver the agreed package and coordinate construction queries or subsequent revisions.

PLANNING YOUR DESIGN PACKAGE

Start with the right inputs.

Good design begins with an agreed brief and useful information about the site.

What information is needed to start?

The starting package typically includes the scope, site survey, existing drawings, proposed equipment or loads, client requirements and the design schedule. Foundation work also needs the relevant geotechnical information.

Can you support an upgrade to an existing site?

Upgrade review starts with the existing configuration and proposed changes. We define the records, loading information and investigations needed to assess the modification and prepare its design scope.

How is the design basis agreed?

The design basis is defined around the client specifications, location, loading conditions and applicable project standards. These requirements are recorded before detailed design and carried through the review process.

Can design support be combined with digital products?

A project can use iSurvix Survey for structured field information and iGeoview for site location tasks alongside its engineering work. Engineering Intelligence is an upcoming product focused on connected site and review workflows.
